Description of Duties:
The Performance Tester will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and execute performance testing strategies for Eligibility and Interfaces modules. The Performance Tester will be responsible for ensuring the system meets performance standards and can handle the required load and scalability, while identifying bottlenecks and recommending improvements.
Essential Job Functions:
- Develop and execute performance test plans for Integrated Eligibility systems, including Eligibility and Interfaces modules, to ensure they meet performance requirements under different load conditions.
- Perform load, stress, and scalability testing to assess system behavior under varying user loads, data volumes, and transaction complexities.
- Define performance testing strategies, goals, and deliverables, ensuring complete coverage for system performance throughout the testing lifecycle.
- Analyze test results, identify performance bottlenecks, and generate comprehensive reports with recommendations for improvements in system performance.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, system architects, and business analysts, to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and validate performance benchmarks.
- Recommend and implement optimization strategies based on test results, collaborating with stakeholders to improve system performance.
- Maintain detailed test documentation, including performance test plans, test cases, and results, ensuring all performance testing efforts are well-documented and reproducible.

Desired Skills and Experience:
- 3+ years of performance testing experience, specifically within Integrated Eligibility projects or similar systems.
- Minimum of 10 years of overall testing experience, with at least 5 years focused on performance testing.
- In-depth knowledge of performance testing methodologies, including load, stress, and scalability testing.
- Experience in analyzing system performance data, identifying bottlenecks, and providing recommendations for system improvements.
- Strong experience in performance testing, including load, stress, scalability, and endurance testing for integrated systems.
- Expertise in using performance testing tools such as LoadRunner, JMeter, Gatling, or similar tools to simulate user load and measure system performance.
- Solid understanding of Integrated Eligibility systems, with experience testing the performance of Eligibility and Interfaces modules.
- Ability to define and implement performance testing strategies, ensuring comprehensive coverage of system performance aspects such as response time, throughput, and resource utilization.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in complex systems.
- Experience in creating and executing performance test scripts, analyzing the test results, and reporting findings with actionable insights.
- Proficiency in defining system performance benchmarks and KPIs to measure system health and capacity.
- Knowledge of cloud-based systems and the impact of cloud environments on performance is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with developers, stakeholders, and business teams.

Travel:

Education:
